BEINIT Energy is an international energy consultancy, project and construction management company who run a number of fixed price contracts throughout the Middle East and Asia. Managing project costs across this portfolio of projects is critical and included. Project factors included international team management, 3rd party costs, expenses, and procurement costs. In addition, the development of the tender involved teams across MENA and Asia, including significant time zone differences, which resulted in the added complication of multiple revisions of the tender. BEINIT Energy needed an integrated solution that allowed them to manage the tender, the international teams, the project, and its associated costs in a centralised and controlled work management solution.
The Xergy onboarding team worked with BeInIt Energy to set them up on Proteus within 48 hours. Proteus client onboarding includes a dedicated Customer Success Manager. Proteus worked with BeInit Energy to train staff, add all current proposals and projects to Proteus, and set up the system backend to ensure that all core data from tenders to project delivery is accurate, as well as centralised and controlled.
All of the key elements in the tender; engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, team profile, work breakdown structure, schedule, milestones, and deliverables. These were pre-configured in Proteus, ensuring the teams used consistent accurate data across multiple documents.
When the tenders were won, Proteus automatically transferred the information in the final tender from Proposal to Project Management, adding all costs, forecasts, deliverables, payments and risks, which were then tracked and displayed in Proteus Dashboards.
