The challenge

Aurecon was operating across multiple legacy systems and disconnected workflows, creating significant operational inefficiencies:

The Solution

Following a successful pilot within the Sustaining Capital division, Xergy supported the enterprise-wide rollout of Proteus as Aurecon’s mandated Quote-to-Cash platform. The solution delivered a fully integrated, governed, and scalable operating model:

• Enterprise Quote-to-Cash platform End-to-end workflow spanning pricing, forecasting, project setup, delivery, and reporting within a single system.
• Standardised data model Consistent project structures across all business units, enabling reliable reporting and cross-portfolio visibility.
• Governance and controls Role-based access, approvals, and structured workflows aligned to enterprise governance requirements.
• Real-time enterprise reporting Live dashboards integrated with Aurecon’s data warehouse to support forecasting and performance tracking.
• System integration Seamless integration with core enterprise platforms, including Workday Finance, Microsoft Data Warehouse, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and internal governance tools.

Xergy’s role

Xergy partnered closely with Aurecon’s IT and transformation teams to deliver the end-to-end solution, including:

• Co-design of the integration architecture
• Platform configuration aligned to Aurecon’s operating model
• Data migration design, testing, and validation
• Support across SIT, E2E, and UAT testing phases
• Go-live delivery and hypercare support
