Dev Ops
We’re looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to join the team behind an exciting cloud-based business platform, Proteus (xergy.com/proteus). Our headquarters are in Aberdeen city centre, but we are happy to consider a hybrid or fully-remote role.

Proteus is our cloud-based platform which increases efficiency, reduces costs, and drives performance whilst facilitating remote working. Proteus is set for massive growth in 2023; critical to this will be our software’s ongoing performance, stability, and agility.
Key Deliverables
Working within our product development team you’ll take ownership of our product’s performance, security, and ability to quickly and safely deploy new features. You will be empowered to explore new technologies and strategies to create the ideal pipeline of deployment and observance. You will also be involved in the planning of future infrastructure and the direction of travel of our software.
You will be our point of contact with our SysOps partner, ensuring they are accountable for the stability of our underlying infrastructure, and using them as a source of support for your role. You will make use of the partner to architect and support the infrastructure that we need for the software and development processes.
Preferred Experience
- Extensive experience supporting a cloud-based SaaS platform.
- Practical knowledge of modern software deployment pipelines and expertise in designing such pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with AWS; covering implementation, configuration, and maintenance of its services (traditional, event-based/serverless & tooling services
